I say “Us” because this business wouldn’t be possible without the help of my husband.  From heavy lifting to sacrificing space in our home, Jordan has supported me through on through.  I am incredibly blessed to have him, and our entire family, by my side.

Raven Street Market was created when a lovable hobby became a full-time pursuit.  Each week, furniture is refinished using high quality paints, glazes, and top coats to give you a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of furniture that will last for years to come.

On the pursuit of happiness, I have found that home is where the heart is.  Bringing pieces of furniture into your home that are high quality and full of character is just the beginning to creating a place you love.

I’m on a rampage of home and furniture projects, so I thought I would document as I go along.  Besides the furniture shop, you’ll find a newly created blog on our site that will show the behind the scenes work of furniture and home improvement projects.  Updating trim, painting kitchen cabinets, new flooring, adding windows are all just a few of the updates you can come to expect!

In 2016, we built a new home.  This is to be our forever home, and don’t get me wrong, new is NICE– but so much of the character was left out during the building process.  Over the next couple years, we intend to add all of that character in through simple additions to our home.

I also refinish furniture full time from home and will be sharing furniture DIY along the way!  Paint and furniture can make huge impacts when updating your home.  While some prefer to buy a specially finished piece from an artisan, others like to DIT (Do It Themselves).  Raven Street Market will cover both for you, offering a Shop of finished pieces or blog posts to show you how.
